Scottish Grand National Result 2010 - Merigo

The 2010 Scottish Grand National was as always a cracking renewal and there was a top class winner in Merigo, who at 18/1 caused a minor shock at Ayr. In the end it was a real test of stamina with only seven horses finishing the course, in the end though Merigo off of just 10st had too much from Gone To Lunch who was giving away 13lbs to the winner. Merigo though was a popular winner with Scottish Trainer Andrew Parker winning the race for the first time. A special mention should go to No Panic who was running out of the handicap and stayed on well to claim a deserved place for connections.
